Last weekend I want to Las Vegas with my sister and my women's soccer team for a tournament. This was my first girls trip to Vegas and it was so much fun! We are already talking about scheduling our next trip for my sister's bachelorette party! We got in on Friday night and checked into our hotel which was about 30 minutes from the strip because it was closer to the fields. Our hotel had a free shuttle to the strip so we took advantage of that. On Friday night we started out at the Piano Bar at New York New York, moved on to Coyote Ugly for two-for-one drinks and some dancing on the bar (not by me) and then we finished the night following a gentleman named Kenneth to the super cool balcony at the Foundation Room at the top of the Mandalay Bay. It was a super fun night! The next morning we had two soccer games and we tied both, 1-1. On Saturday night we went to the strip again but it was much more mellow. We stopped by the M&M store and visited the newer City Center and Cosmopolitan. The Cosmopolitan has this magical chandelier bar in it and I want to live there. It is beautiful and both the City Center and Cosmopolitan smell fantastic inside. We ended the night with some frosting shots at the Monte Carlo! On Sunday we had two more games. We won the first 3-0 and tied the second 0-0. We did not have the best record in our bracket so we did not move on but we were happy we remained undefeated for our first time in the tournament. All in all it was a super fun weekend! I love my soccer girls!
