Easter Sunday

We had a great Easter Sunday! It started off with an early mass and Kory actually showed up!!! After church we headed for a quick stop for some bagels and coffee -- a usual stop for us after church on Sundays.

After breakfast we headed home to rest for a little. We caught up with Oscar who was dressed up for the special day...

After a little resting/laundry/cleaning, we headed to the dog park before going over to Kim's/Mom's for Easter dinner. Roi and Minnie have to get a little worn out before going over to Kim's!

The dogs love playing together!!! From left to right below it is Alex, Minnie, Barkleigh, and Roi.

We got a great shot of Barkleigh jumping for a ball in the backyard too....

We had a delicious ham dinner followed by yummy carrot cake for dessert... with frozen yogurt as lent is over and I can have ice cream again!!! All in all it was a great Easter!

15 1/2 Weeks

I felt like this outfit did a good job of showing my bump without making me look fat so I decided to upload a picture! I am constantly touching my stomach because it feels weird to me. Guess I am still getting used to it!

15 Weeks

I am now 15 weeks pregnant! The above ultrasound was taken at almost 8 weeks pregnant. At that time our baby was the size of a raspberry. Now it is the size of a naval orange! They say that the baby is moving but I can't feel it yet. I am starting to show and will probably start adding belly pics soon.

Last week I announced to my new job that I am pregnant. Everything went really well and I am glad that I don't have to try to hide it anymore. I am really not good at keeping secrets anyways, especially not such an exciting one. I plan on working up until I go into labor, or as close as possible :)

As far as preparing for our baby goes, we didn't do too much this past weekend. Justin has been working a lot as his branch is a little short-handed right now (and has been for months). A few weeks ago we cleaned what was our office. Justin ripped up the carpet and baseboards and then painted the walls a really cool gray color.  Here was the office before...
and the nursery now...

.

Our next step will be flooring. We are going to be installing a laminate wood floor and are really excited about it. With Easter this weekend I doubt it will get done then, but hopefully before April is over!

New at this!

Justin originally created a blog so that we can share details about our pregnancy with family and friends, but then he lost the password so I just created a new one. I probably should have started this a long time ago but better late than never. Justin and I both read a lot of cute blogs and I am excited for us to have one of our own. Hopefully we can become really good at updating this and I hope everyone who reads our blog enjoys it!

1st Grade Field Trip

This past Tuesday I took the day off from work to volunteer at Everly's school and go on her field trip. I actually volunteered before I...
