Halloween 2017

We had a great Halloween this year. I had the day off so we started of the day with spooky donuts before we dropped Everly off at school. Then Aspen and I met Nora at story time before going back to Everly's school and meeting her for lunch. She was actually crying because she thought we forgor to pack her a lunch but she was fine once she saw us. It was fun to surprise her with lunch.

Last year after Halloween I hit up Target clearance and got a banana costume for Everly and so we decided to go with a fruit theme this year. Everly was cool with it at first and for the most part had a good attitude about it but made me promise her she could be a princess next year. I actually already went to Target and got her Pocahontas for $10 so she is happy. Aspen was an apple that Justin and I put together at the last minute Nora was a strawberry and Cam was a kiwi. Teddy was supposed to be a pineapple but he really wanted to be a police officer and once he gets set on something there is no changing his mind so that was that. His costume was actually really popular from other trick or treaters when we were out. A lot of the older kids were making comments about it. Teddy took off his costume before we even made it back home. One of my friends from soccer also came over with her kids since we have a pretty good trick or treating turnout in our neighborhood. The kids had a lot of fun and are even more happy with all of the candy they ended up with!
