Saturday Fun

Looking back, this past Saturday was kind of crazy. I ran a 10k in the morning, we fed Aspen her first solid food, we went to an event at the train park followed by lunch at Portillos and then watched my sister's soccer game at GCU at night. No wonder I didn't get all my cleaning done! The event at McCormick Stillman Railroad Park was called "Exclusively Little," It was just a special day for little kids and they had games, face painting, a petting zoo, bounce houses, and of course the playground and trains! The weather was pretty great and the kids love this park so it is pretty much always a great idea. It is where we had Everly's 3rd birthday party last October and we are already planning to go back in a couple of weeks.

After the train park we were all pretty exhausted so nap time was a must. Everly didn't even make it on the freeway before falling asleep. We rested for the afternoon and then met my family at night at my sister's soccer game. She had a scrimmage against NAU at Grand Canyon University. It was so nice outside and Everly loves running around with her boys at Katy's games. Aspen got a little tired at the end but was pretty much an angel, too. The hardest part about both the train park and the soccer game was getting Everly to leave at the end!

They both did pretty good but Teddy was really into this bunny. It was adorable.

Aspen and Cam waited patiently while Everly and Ted got their faces painted. Cam was so into the kitty's whiskers. It was super cute.

The carnival games.

Their favorite part was picking out prizes. Teddy picked out cars after each game and Everly picked out princess wands.
