Disney on Ice: World of Enchantment

For Christmas my mom bought the girls tickets to see Disney on Ice and the show was last night. It ended up working out well because I had Friday off from work so it didn't matter that we were out a little later than normal because I could let the girls sleep in. I met Justin after work at our usual area around 7th ave and McDowell because they have lots of food options there. We both ate at habit burger grill because we rarely eat burgers anymore. It was less than 10 minutes away from the arena and we had no trouble finding parking although there was a really long line to get in through security. I think they knew it was long though and started the show a couple of minutes late. The show included scenes from Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Cars and Frozen so it would have been good for boys and girls. The Toy Story part ended up being kind of long. I took Everly to get a snow cone and she was like, when are the princesses coming? Toy Story has been on for hours. I was like, okay it hasn't been hours, haha, but it will be over soon. Frozen was still a huge hit. Everyone was cheering during it. Aspen was actually not feeling well but I took her to get a toy and when she heard scenes from Frozen she got all excited. Then during the Frozen scenes she fell asleep on Justin, but I am not complaining. One year we went and all she wanted to do was run around and it was difficult so while I would have rather she felt better, at least she was just chill sitting in our laps. Everly had a lot of fun and overall it was a really fun night. Here are a few pictures and a video:

Frozen on Ice

For Christmas my mom got the kids tickets to Disney on Ice presents Frozen and the show was last night. We have seen a handful of Disney on Ice shows now and this was even Aspen's second show but we had been waiting for Frozen to come. I thought it was a really good show despite the fact that Aspen didn't want to sit in a seat (two big teeth coming in). The boys both did really good as well which is no surprise because they love Frozen. Also, they were treated with pretzels and popcorn and Teddy got a buzz lightyear which he loved and Aspen wasn't allowed to touch, haha. Everly really enjoyed it too and said Elsa and the snow was her favorite part. I am not used to being out on weeknights so I was super tired by the end of the night but they had fun! Here are a few pictures and a little video of the night.

Sometimes they are just the sweetest and this night was it. Both boys were giving me hugs and kisses.

Disney on Ice

For Christmas we got tickets to take the girls to see Disney on Ice and the show was last weekend. Everly has been several times before but it is usually a different theme so it is fun to take her. I can't wait until we can take her to Frozen on Ice. This show was "Let's Celebrate," so it had lots of different characters. We talked about it a lot to get her excited about it and she kept calling it Disney on "ice skating." Then she would list all of the characters she was going to see. She was set on Pluto being there (he was). Both girls did really great at the show. Aspen seemed to like the lights and Everly got excited at all of the characters she recognized. It actually kind of seemed like it was a quick show but I was tired so I wasn't sad about that, haha. My mom also gave Everly some money to get a toy and she picked out a Stich toy and some popcorn. It is kinda freaky how much that girl likes popcorn. She was shoveling it in her face! Here is my post from our trip last year, too.

Disney on Ice: 100 Years of Magic

A week ago we took the kids to Disney on Ice as an Easter present from my mom. This was Everly's third time seeing Disney on Ice (she has gone twice before as Christmas gifts). Those shows were both more princess related shows but this was more of a generic Disney show so it was perfect for the boys first Disney on Ice. Doing anything with 3 kids under 3 is never EASY, but there were 5 of us adults there so we  at least outnumbered them! The week before up until the ride there I kept trying to explain to Everly where we were going. In the car on the way there she was holding Jesse from Toy Story and a Snow White Barbie and I made her leave them in the car. As we shut the door she said, "Bye Jessie, bye Show White. We're going to Disney on Ice." Haha! She finally got it! When we walked into the arena she just gasped and covered her mouth. She was so excited to see her aunts and just to be there, and the show hadn't even started.

Disney got her hooked at a young age and I am not even mad. It is awesome to see her love something so much! She did really great at the show. She got totally spoiled too. Grandma bought the babies popcorn to share and she loves popcorn. Grandma also bought her one of those ridiculous spinney light up toys. She loved it, but I didn't so after the show we traded it in for a Woody plush so Jesse would have a friend, haha. She has been on a Toy Story kick for a while and constantly alternates between all 3 movies on the ipad. She passed out pretty quickly on the ride home after that! Thanks Grandma for a fun day!
