Last Saturday my sister invited us to join her at the Children's Museum of Phoenix. She is a member there and had some extra passes and we are so grateful she invited us to join her and Mae. We have been several times before but it has been a while, over a year, since we have been back. My sister splurged for a couple special activities that day including making "snow" and decorating a giant gingerbread man. As much as the girls are pretty easy going, it was still quite the event wrangling them around the museum. They loved decorating the gingerbread man, but would have been just as happy eating straight frosting and candy. They also loved the noodles and were non-stop giggling as they ran through. Aspen and Mae definitely got some practice in the sharing department which they both struggle with at times. We don't get a ton of just "girl" time since Everly and Teddy are inseparable so it was really fun to just have a girls only day. Thanks for inviting us Krys and Mae! Here is a quick little video and some pictures:

Children's Museum of Phoenix
Last week I picked up a culture pass at the library for the Children's Museum of Phoenix so that I could take the girls for free on the weekend (saved me $22)! We got there around 9:45 and it wasn't too busy. It definitely took a lot of planning on my part, however. I had to wear Aspen because it is much easier to follow Ev along without a stroller and the museum is 3 floors. I still needed to carry a wallet and essential diaper bag items but I didn't want to carry a purse or diaper bag on my shoulder and if I was wearing Aspen on the front I couldn't wear a crossbody so I totally borrowed one of Everly's little backpacks and it worked perfectly. I was a little worried about her going in the big jungle gym/ treehouse/ playground without me because I was worried either she would get scared and I wouldn't be able to go up and help her or I would be ready to move on and I would not be able to get her out. It ended up working out fine and she came down on her own while I was playing with Aspen in one of the baby zones. The museum has lots of great baby areas and we will definitely go back when Aspen can crawl and sit up and enjoy them more. Everly had a lot of fun but she doesn't really interact much with other kids. She mostly just does her own thing. You would think she would interact more now that she is in preschool full time but I guess it will just take more time. Everly got to do some painting and we even snuck in a little photo booth session. It was a great morning!

Chidren's Musuem of Phoenix and Freddy's
On Friday night we took advantage of Free First Friday's and headed to the Children's Museum of Phoenix. It is normally kind of expensive so we love taking advantage of the free nights. When we used to come we had to take the stroller which is difficult in a 3-story museum with only 2 elevators on a busy night. It was really nice to have 3 walkers and not need the stroller (although, Teddy kind of wanted to be held the whole time because he was still sleepy). It does get very busy and can get overwhelming if you don't know what you are doing, but I think we do a good job of moving the babies through as many different exhibits as possible. I think they had fun.
After we headed to Freddy's for dinner. All 3 kids were just in heaven. Cameron literally ate the entire time we were there. He just kept eating (growth spurt??). Teddy and Everly thought they were hilarious playing with a stack of booster seats in the corner of the restaurant. Later Everly was "sharing" an ice cream cone with Grandma and decided to feed some to Teddy. We were laughing so hard watching her feed him. He had ice cream everywhere, but they were having a blast! It is no surprise that all 3 of them slept in on Sunday morning! Such a great Friday night!

Children's Museum of Phoenix
Last Friday night we went to the Children's Museum of Phoenix. On the first friday night of every month it is completely free from 5-9. Because of that, it was super crazy packed there, but it was still worth it because Everly and Cameron had a blast. It was Cameron's second time going and Everly's first. They have a lot of things that will be super awesome for them to play with when they get a little older but they also have lots of baby areas as well. I am glad we went! By the end of the night Everly was so exhausted she passed out as soon as we put her in her stroller!
